Maya (F) is a senior consultant in Europroject. She earned a Master’s degree in European Projects and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Sofia University, Bulgaria and studied in Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic under the Erasmus program. Maya developed thorough skills in project set-up, management and proposal writing with comprehensive experience within the public, non-profit and more recently within the private sector. She has worked in the European programmes and projects Departments of two Bulgarian municipalities and as a Senior expert on coordination of territorial cooperation projects related to regional economic and social development and integration processes (in fields including social entrepreneurship, culture and social services) under INTERREG programmes, FP7, Horizon 2020 and EEA Grants with tasks ranging from overall management and administration of projects, reporting, coordination, monitoring to team management and financial planning. During this time, she gained experience in pilot actions and in the collection of best practices.
